Stalking the Wild Pendulum: On the Mechanics of Consciousness by Itzhak Bentov
![]()
![]()
Bentov explores the new science and explains the interconnectedness of objects and their effects on one another in the world surrounding us, including examples such as a room full of pendulums. Itzhak Bentov was a Czech born scientist, doing work in Israel prior to moving to the US where he is credited with the invention of the remote controlled cardiac catheter.
In Search of Schrödinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality by John Gribbin
![]()
![]()
From his Introduction "Don't look here for any "eastern Mysticism", spoon bending or ESP. Do look here for the true story of quantum mechanics, a truth far stranger than any fiction. Science is like that - it doesn't need dressing up in the hand-me-downs of someone else's philosophy, because it is full of its own delights, mysteries, and surprises." Part history book and part remedial physics text for those who lost interest when the equations started getting unintuitive, Gribbin explains quantum physics in a way that's not only clear, but also enjoyable. (from Amazon.com) John Gribbin holds a doctorate in astrophysics from Cambridge University.

Chaos: Making a New Science by James Gleick
![]()
![]()
Ever wonder why your high school science experiments never came out 'right'? Gleick does a great job in describing the history and science of "chaos," a new and different look at nature in terms of nonlinear dynamics. James Gleick is an author, journalist, and biographer, whose books explore the cultural ramifications of science and technology. Three of them have been Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award finalists.
The Field Updated Ed: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe by Lynne McTaggart
![]()
![]()
Lynne McTaggart , an investigative journalist, researched this area where science meets the New Age to tell the story of scientific explorers and their groundbreaking work, and its controversial implications. Intelligent and well written, it reads like a great novel, unlike so many other books on the subject of the history of quantum physics and its metaphysical implications.
![]()
Talbot begins with quantum physics and the holographic interpretation implied in the science and moves into an historical recounting of seeming medical and metaphysical oddities which can perhaps be accounted for with the new science. Very well written. A classic.

Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation by Richard Bartlett, DC, ND![]()
![]()
In 1997, Dr. Richard Bartlett experienced an event that would redirect the entire course of his life. His teaching provides an easily-reproducible, results-oriented process of change that draws on the fundamental principles embraced by the field of quantum physics. This paradigm-busting book can teach anyone how to access their creative power to heal and transform their lives. Dr. Richard Bartlett discovered that what he once thought about the human body was just the tip of the iceberg -- after seeing change beneath his hands, and hearing about the invisible transformations that were often revealed later -- he knew that he had to pass along what he had discovered. (from Amazon.com) Dr. Bartlett also teaches workshops to experientially learn his techniques.
Vibrational Medicine: The #1 Handbook of Subtle-Energy Therapies
by Richard Gerber M.D.![]()
![]()
Gerber offers an explanation of why so many different and seemingly contradictory healing modalities can all work. In the energetic modalities, such as acupuncture and polarity therapy, one particular point on a body can represent very different energies or organ systems. Another example is the variety of color schemes used by different healers to heal the energy centers on the human body (common example of color usage in advertising: red is used in restaurants as it increases appetite). Through the analogy of a hologram, Gerber explains that at any angle of perception, each modality is a complete system. By changing the angle of perception, a different modality is equally valid. It is only in the superimposition of multiple modalities that there is seeming conflict.
