SESSION LENGTH:

  • Sessions vary in length from one to two hours, averaging one and a half hours;
  • WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THE SESSION:

    Before the session:

  • You'll want to be dressed comfortably in loose fitting clothing;
  • Please remove any metal and jewelry from your body, except for wedding jewelry. Metal and precious stones hold energy and it is best to not integrate it into the energy field;
  • You will want to be sure there will be no distractions - no phones, no faxes, no children, no pets, no people.
  • You will need to have easy access to:
  • a telephone;
  • a silent timer with a buzzer that functions (an alarm clock will work also);
  • a comfortable place to sit in a reclined position or lie. It should NOT be a place where sleeping is done.
  • IMMEDIATELY PRIOR TO THE SESSION:

    Please perform a thorough Self-Awareness Inventory (as described below) in writing, and set it aside.

    TO BEGIN THE SESSION:

    At the appointed time, contact me by phone. Confirm that you are at the location where you will be for the session, that you have completed your written/typed Self-Awareness Inventory and that you are ready to begin;

    I will then instruct you to:

  • Set the timer for 45 minutes:
  • Hang up the phone and then turn off the phone or its ringer.
  • DURING THE SILENCE:

  • It is best if you use the session time to be aware, to watch, NOT to do. Avoid meditating, avoid any breathing rhythms you may have practiced (including pranayama), avoid reviewing or planning your day, avoid letting your mind spin off. Focus your attention in a gentle relaxed way on your breath, or the rise and fall of your chest as you breath, or gently scan your body. For you, this is a time of BE-ing, not DO-ing;
  • When the buzzer goes off, immediately write down anything that may have occurred for you during the session. This would include any sensations you may have experienced, any thing you may have perceived that was out of the ordinary. Then do a fresh Self-Awareness Inventory. Typically it will take less time to re-inventory yourself after the session;
  • Then call me by phone to complete the session.
  • TO COMPLETE THE SESSION:

    We will do some sharing. You will have the opportunity to share what you experienced and ask any questions. Depending on the particular methodologies used during the session, I may also have information for you.>/p>

    I recommend performing another self-inventory three days after the session, as the energy continues to move and resolve issues in the body for three to four days.
